What an absolutely incredible day yesterday at the Sheringham Carnival Parade 🩷🖤🤍✨

Performing as part of the parade in our Grease theme was so much fun, and we honestly had the best time. Seeing everyone come together, dancing, smiling, and bringing so much energy to the streets made it such a special day.

A huge thank you to our amazing dance family for all your hard work, enthusiasm, and for making sure everyone was there looking absolutely fantastic. We couldn’t do it without each and every one of you. 🩷

A massive shoutout to all of our incredible behind-the-scenes team who worked tirelessly to get the floats built, decorated, and parade-ready. Your hard work often goes unseen, but it is so appreciated.

And the biggest thank you to Laura @notjustballoonsnorfolk for the stunning balloons that made our float look extra special—you truly brought the finishing touch! 🎈✨

I’m beyond proud to say we were awarded 🥇 1st Place for the 4th year running! What an achievement! So proud of every single person who made this happen.

Today we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the amazing @gracewalker_choreography who delivered two outstanding masterclasses in Jazz and Lyrical Contemporary for our senior students.

It was so inspiring to watch our dancers step out of their comfort zones, push themselves, and work with such dedication and passion alongside an incredible industry professional.

We couldn’t be prouder of the hard work, focus, and determination they showed throughout the day.

Honestly, I could have made a 4-hour reel from all the amazing footage we captured, but here’s just a little glimpse of everything we got up to today.

We are beyond excited to welcome @tayloryates_ to our studio for this year’s Summer School🩷🖤🤍🤩

Taylor will be working with our dancers on Thursday and Friday, and we can’t wait to see what they create together. It’s going to be an incredible couple of days filled with inspiration, creativity and hard work.

Taylor Yates
Creative Director, Choreographer and Educator
Taylor Yates is a professional dancer, choreographer and educator from South East London. He trained at Addict Dance Academy before building a career spanning commercial performance, choreography and dance education.

As a performer, Taylor has worked with artists including Rita Ora, Cheryl, Tulisa, Take That, with television and live credits including ITV, The BRIT Awards, Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor.

As a choreographer, Taylor creates work for stage, screen and live events. His commissions include productions for the top colleges and universities across the UK. His work has also been staged internationally, including shows created with Sea Cruise UK.

Alongside his performing and creative work, Taylor is a passionate educator. He has taught at some of the UK’s leading studios and training institutions, including Pineapple Dance Studios, Manor LDN, Performers College, Urdang, LMA, Bodywork Performing Arts and D&B Academy.
Taylor’s workshops bring the professional industry into the studio. Sessions combine commercial technique and performance skills with honest insight into life as a working dancer, giving students a real picture of what the industry asks of them. His aim in every room is simple. Push the standard, build confidence and leave students inspired to go further.

We feel incredibly lucky to have Taylor joining us this summer, and we know our dancers are going to learn so much from his experience and energy.

What a way to wrap up an incredible academic year at TWPA🩷🖤🤍✨

Looking back at these photos from our final classes of the year and our amazing showcase fills me with so much pride. Every single dancer has worked incredibly hard this year, and watching their confidence, talent, and passion continue to grow has been such a privilege.

But what makes TWPA so special isn’t just the dancing. It’s the kindness, encouragement, friendship, and love our dancers show one another every single week. They celebrate each other’s successes, lift each other up, and create the most wonderful community. That is something truly special, and I couldn’t be prouder.

Yesterday our senior dancers took to the main stage at @moveitshow at London Excel, competing in the very first Move It Championships — and wow, what an incredible opportunity it was 🤍

They performed with such beauty, elegance and unity, coming together effortlessly as a team. Their professionalism shone through every moment, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything they’ve achieved to reach this level.

Even more amazing — this piece was created in just THREE evening lessons… truly a testament to their dedication, focus and talent. Absolute professionals in every way 👏

Yesterday at Prestige Dance Competition was everything and more — backstage fun, quick changes, laughter, and those quiet moments in between where you realise just how far these dancers have come.

Watching our dancers perform alongside some of the very best in the country was beyond inspiring. The growth, the confidence, the artistry… so much progress was made, and I couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them. 🥹✨

We may come from a small town and a close-knit community, but our dreams are big. We work tirelessly to give our dancers the very best opportunities, to raise aspirations, and to remind them that where you’re from never limits where you can go. Yesterday proved that in the most powerful way. 🤍

What an absolutely fabulous day travelling to London from Sheringham! ✨🚆

We had the best time visiting @ldnstudiocentre where we were lucky enough to take part in a brilliant jazz tech class, followed by learning some super fast but incredible jazz choreography from the amazing @crispysnaps 🤩🔥

We also loved hearing directly from current students about their experiences at the school, chatting with the admissions team, touring the incredible facilities, and watching classes happening in the space – such an inspiring insight into life at LSC. A huge thank you to LSC for allowing us to visit and for our students to experience a day in the life at your school.

To top it all off, we had a fun explore around Covent Garden, picking up so many extra life skills along the way (hello city navigation! 🗺️😉).

A truly inspiring, insightful, and unforgettable day from start to finish. We are super excited to have started our 2026 with a bang and continue to offer our students the very best opportunities. We’re still buzzing! 💫🖤🩷🤍

Harry has danced with some of the biggest names – from the West End to @dualipa and @harrystyles – but what made this workshop so special was the way he connected with our students.

At TWPA, we believe in broadening horizons – giving our dancers the chance to learn from inspiring professionals, right here at home.

Both our juniors and seniors got to learn choreography from Hamilton and they absolutely shone.

As a Principal, I couldn’t have been prouder – watching our dancers rise to the challenge, support each other, and take it all in their stride.
