TWPA is a dynamic creative movement and dance academy, founded by professional dancer and teacher, Tom Withington. Based in Sheringham, our artist-led Performing Arts Academy has grown into a vibrant hub for young people aged 3–19, offering high-quality, technical dance and artistic movement classes in a welcoming and supportive environment.
At TWPA, our highly skilled and professionally trained team are passionate about sharing their exceptional experience and knowledge in dance education. We pride ourselves on delivering classes that combine creativity with technical precision, ensuring every dancer—whether beginner, improver, or advanced—feels both inspired and challenged.

Student ambassador program
Training to empower!
Our Student Ambassador Program is a unique opportunity for dedicated students to take their dance journey to the next level. Designed to build confidence, leadership, and practical teaching experience, this program allows students to learn the skills needed to become effective teaching assistants within our classes.
As Student Ambassadors, participants will develop essential tools such as communication, teamwork, classroom management, and mentorship, all while enhancing their own dance training in a dynamic and supportive environment. This program not only prepares students for potential careers in dance and teaching but also helps them become positive role models within our studio community.
Students in the program will work toward earning a Dance Leadership Award—a recognised qualification that acknowledges their commitment, growth, and leadership in the dance world. This prestigious certification adds value to their dance education and can support future opportunities in both academic and professional settings.
