Throughout the academic year, we hold two annual showcases, giving our students the opportunity to share their hard work and achievements with parents, friends and the wider community.

Our Winter Showcase focuses primarily on the technical classes, allowing students to demonstrate the skills and techniques they have been developing throughout the first part of the academic year.

Our Summer Showcase celebrates the work students have completed during the summer term and brings together what they have been working towards at the end of the academic year. It is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate their progress, creativity and achievements.

Every year, TWPA proudly takes part in the Sheringham Carnival with a one-of-a-kind, themed float designed just for the occasion. We love getting creative with personalised themes that reflect our studio spirit, and it’s always a highlight of the summer! Our dancers and their families come together to learn fun, high-energy choreography and perform along the parade route, bringing colour, music, and plenty of smiles to the streets. It’s a fantastic way to celebrate our community and share our love of dance with the crowds!

TWPA is proud to be the resident choreographers for the annual pantomime at Sheringham Little Theatre. Each year, our students have the exciting opportunity to audition and take part as ensemble dancers and singers, performing alongside a talented professional cast. It’s a fantastic experience that allows them to develop their stagecraft, gain real theatre experience, and be part of one of the town’s most magical festive traditions.

Each year, TWPA brings the entire school together for a spectacular full-scale production at The Auden Theatre. In just six weeks, we create a brand-new show from scratch, developed in collaboration with our students. From original choreography to storytelling through dance, this exciting project gives every dancer the chance to shine on stage, build confidence, and be part of something truly special. It’s a celebration of creativity, teamwork, and the incredible talent within our TWPA family.

In 2023, less than a year after opening our doors, TWPA proudly staged our very first full school production, Prism. Created in just six weeks, this original show was a vibrant celebration of creativity, passion, and the incredible spirit of our students. Performed at the stunning Platform Theatre in Norwich, Prism marked a major milestone for our academy—bringing together dancers of all ages to light up the stage with energy, emotion, and unity. It was a true reflection of what makes TWPA so special.

​​​​Our TWPA students have proudly represented the academy at a wide range of regional, national, and international dance competitions—consistently showcasing their talent, passion, and dedication. We’ve competed and placed at prestigious events such as Shine, Prestige, CYD?, East Anglian Dance Competitions, Norfolk Festivals, Move It Shake It, and even the Dance World Cup and national finals. These experiences not only celebrate our dancers’ hard work but also inspire them to grow, push boundaries, and shine on every stage they step onto.

For the past two years, TWPA has had the honour of performing at Norwich Pride—an unforgettable event that celebrates love, equality, and community. Dancing in front of thousands, our students bring the energy with a fierce, original commercial routine created just for the occasion. It’s a highlight of our year, and a powerful opportunity for our dancers to express themselves, support an important cause, and be part of something truly meaningful and joyful.

At the Cromer Legends Musical Festival, we had the exciting challenge of creating a brand-new choreography from scratch. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant energy of the festival and the unique atmosphere of Cromer, we crafted a dynamic and engaging performance that captivated the audience. Our team worked seamlessly to design and execute intricate dance sequences, pushing the boundaries of creativity and precision. This experience showcased our passion for choreography and our ability to bring something fresh and exciting to the stage.
